Congratulations, once again, that your abstract has been selected for presentation at the Annual Meeting. If you agree to deliver a presentation, we ask your assistance with the following.

It is imperative that you present the material that was submitted for review by the Clinical Content Committee. Do not deviate from the approved content of your abstract. If you are unable to present your abstract you must seek approval from the Academy Clinical Content Committee for a substitute presenter. In preparing your presentation materials, please keep in mind that product endorsements or "commercials" are not acceptable presentations. The intent of the program is to provide specific, relevant clinical and scientific information to participants.

Below are all the forms, information and deadlines to be observed.
Please do so as follows:
  1. Go to the online Presenter Information Portal
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Enter your Registrant ID (sent in email of 13 December... or choose “Forgot Login?” button)
  4. Select Presentation Needs

  • Headshot (.jpeg or .png) for use in the Academy Annual Meeting App

  • Session Presentation

* Please bring your presentation ready-to-load. Please read the A/V form carefully for full details. And, please consider the security of your presentation materials when participating in any education event. Laptop computers or any other audiovisual equipment should never be left unattended. Neither the hotel nor the Academy may be held responsible for the theft of equipment left unattended in an unsecured area. We stress this to ensure that you are aware of the potential problems and to avoid the aggravation of having your equipment stolen.

Special Needs Please contact the Academy office immediately if you have any special needs in order to fully participate (ramp, step box, etc.) We will make every effort to accommodate you; adequate notification to do so is appreciated.

Poster Instructions

  • Poster Presentations must be set up by 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 6.They must be taken down by noon on Saturday, March 9. Any posters left after this time will be discarded. It is the responsibility of the presenting author to ensure accuracy of content, spelling and presentation.
  • Visual material such as *photographs, charts and diagrams may be used. *Note: All patient photographs should be de-identified to safeguard protected health information.
  • One bulletin board, 4 ft. high x 8 ft. wide and tacks for mounting will be provided for the Poster Presentation.
  • A heading for the top of the poster space should be prepared indicating the title (same as that of the abstract submitted), author(s) and institutional affiliations using letters not less than 1 inch (3 cm) high.
  • Printing on the poster should be a minimum of 1⁄2 inch (2 cm) high. Illustrations and printing must be readable from distances of at least 6 feet (2 meters).
  • Displaying solely typewritten pages of paper or the abstract is not allowed.
  • Attendees will use the Annual Meeting App to vote on the posters throughout the day Thursday.
    • The THREE top-voted posters will be invited to present a 12-minute overview during the Poster Presentation Session on Thursday evening from 5:25-6:30pm.
